Yammbo POS turns a tablet into a point of sale. It’s designed for restaurants, cafés, kiosks and small retail.
What you can do
- Take orders by table — assign tables, send orders to the kitchen.
- Take quick sales — for counter service or takeaway.
- Print or send tickets — to a thermal printer or a kitchen screen.
- Track stock — see what’s selling and what’s running low.
- Manage staff — separate logins, daily reports.
- Apply discounts and combos — promotional pricing without touching the catalogue.
Hardware you need
The minimum is one tablet (iPad or Android, modern model) and an internet connection. Optional:
- A thermal printer for paper tickets.
- A second tablet or phone for the kitchen.
- A card reader (Mercado Pago, Stripe Terminal or equivalent — varies by country).
You don’t need a server in the shop. Yammbo POS syncs with the cloud automatically.
Offline mode
When the internet drops, the tablet keeps working: it stores orders locally and syncs when the connection is back. You shouldn’t lose any sales because of a Wi-Fi cut.
Who it isn’t for
- Large multi-branch chains with custom inventory needs.
- Production environments that need barcode scanners at every step (we support barcodes, but if you scan thousands a day, talk to us first).
